How this works on the night
On election day, this page will flip into live mode. During counting, preliminary results appear at the Electoral Commission at 7 PM and update every 15 minutes; official results come three weeks later after special votes are counted. We'll wire the live feed into this tool on the morning of election day — for now, enjoy the countdown and the 2023 wrap-up.
